We have had the opportunity each morning to share our testimonies and just grow as a family away from home. Today Caroline went with Olivia and it was a very powerful moment. I won't share what they said just for confidentiality. However, God is so good! Testimony time is always very powerful.
Sometimes we think that our testimonies aren't powerful enough. Some students say because no one has died or they haven't ran away from God its not useful for people. One thing I told all of us is that a testimony is describing how we are made alive in Christ. It is the transformation we have gone through to call ourselves "Christian" so far.
We were dead in our transgressions.
He miraculous made us alive.
If that doesn't blow your mind away, then I don't know what will. If you haven't had a chance to talk to your child about their testimony I would! They have all been great and a powerful time. I would hope you could tell your child yours too! There will always be such community and love for each other afterwards.
Today we are running to The Empire from 2-5 and 7:30-10.
We love you, and miss you!
Jack
