We have to start by saying that the training weekend was AWESOME! Being able to serve the teams and help to run the training time was a great experience for all of us. We were also inspired and impassioned by the worship and teachings, as well as growing so much as a team. We are all so proud of the students for how well they listened, learned, and served over these last few days, and we are especially thankful for their amazing leaders that love them and lead them so well. Saying goodbye was hard, but we are confident in our well-trained teams and are waiting in joyful anticipation to hear all about what God is doing in their towns.
As for us, we finished cleaning Nore Valley Park and then continued our wonderful afternoon with some relaxing, team bonding (which included LOTS of laughter), and exploration of the town. We even had a chance to meet and pray with the adult Rock Committee. We are SO EXCITED to start The Rock tomorrow!! We definitely need prayer for the set-up of the centre, as well as for a successful first session.
