The Rock Kilkenny!

Yesterday was the first day of The Rock and it was phenomenal! We had a lot of teens come out to the afternoon and night sessions, and although it was the American's first day, the relationships and conversations that were happening felt like we had already been here for a week. During the night session we played some organized group games and the teens had a lot of fun. We came back to the house full of excitement and full of stories about great friendships that were made in only one day.

Today we had tie-dye at the afternoon session which was super fun. In between sessions we invited The Rock's student leaders back to Conor, James & Kaddl's house for dinner. We also had an open mic night at the 7:30-10 session where many Rock teens & American team members had a chance to display their musical talents. On both of our nightly team debriefs it was so amazing to hear about all of the awesome God conversations that are happening already, and the relationships that are already flourishing only after a couple of days. 

We would really appreciate your prayers for tomorrow. We will be having our first "Question and Answer Night" at The Rock, which will be a "God-themed" session. Please pray for the planning of the night as well as for all of our team members (both Irish and American) that will be involved in some intense conversations, giving their testimonies, and/or answering questions the teens have about faith and God. We would also appreciate your prayers for some good rest tonight, lots of energy for the rest of this week, and for good health.
